Prototype for a Landscape is an ongoing series of prints made from photo transfers of scanned 35mm landscape slides. Connected by a common horizon the, the new image represent an idealized composite. The three dimensional frames break the customary portal into another world by implicating the space of the present.

This installation view shows hundreds of slip cast, stoneware houses accompanying the imaginary landscapes. The pile of houses demonstrates the detritus of modern development.
